I've lived here for the past 4 months. Upon moving in, I found nails left in the wall from the previous tenant (painted over hastily - they're now painted into the wall), soiled carpets, light bulbs that did not work, and dirty cabinets in the kitchen. And this was after I paid the $300 NON-REFUNDABLE (EVER - EVEN AFTER MOVE OUT) fee prior to moving in that did not count toward rent, that was supposedly used for refurbishing and cleaning the apartment before I moved in. $300 right in The Connor Group's pocket (headquartered in Georgia).

The staff has been deceptive and rude. Before signing my contract they (namely ----- - watch out for her) tried to bully me into signing a lease that was $20 more per month than I was comfortable with. They were incredibly unprofessional and tried to persuade me by saying "c'mon, it's only 20 bucks a month," however if it was such an insignificant amount I don't know why they didn't just lower the price. They did not. I had an emergency request for maintenance on my move in day, however the office staff classified it as non-emergency and it wasn't fixed for three days. Welcome to your new home, where you overpay and the staff is rude.

The positives to living here include the unique floorplans, the relatively quite neighbors, and the convenient location. For me, I avoid the office staff at all costs and I get by okay.

I have talked to several neighbors that agree with the above noted statements. I've seen how a beautiful upscale property has dropped down to upgraded trailor park.

It's too bad, it looks like they're able to treat the tenants however they want as long as they keep signing new leases. Unfortunately some people care only about money and not about doing their job well.

i myself just moved in about 3 months ago. the fee is outrageous to pay for the work they provide. when we moved in the cabinets were dusty, the top of the fridge was a mess and there are holes in the wall that were improperly repaired. the office staff is a bunch of idiots and they never return phone calls. It took them 3 days to come and get the washer and dryer out of our place when they knew before we moved in that we would not be renting theirs. the neighbors are fine and the view is great. parking sucks during the weekend there are many times i have to park on the main road. they recently painted the stairs and did not leave a path for people to walk up and down on so i had to climb over the rail and jump down so i could go to my appointments and my dog was unable to go outside the whole day. if they would have let us know ahead of time we could have made arrangements. i really dislike the office staff and feel that they really should not be running an apartment complex
