Plan lease length accordingly

Make sure you cover all your bases prior to signing lease. One thing not to do is deal with Collections Dept. Best thing is get the buy-out figure and pay it without questions. Collections staff (Sandy and Mr. Lee) believe in 1-sided conversations, harassing and threatening the tenant, unwillingness to listen or even be able to ask question(s) for clarification. Couldn't believe how two people can get away with treating people that way. Guess that's how they want to be treated in return. Make sure leasing agents are truthful with any questions you have prior and have it in writing in the contract before you sign. Apt itself was sufficient and nice in my opinion. Lucky to have great next door neighbors which is unusual. Seen posts on costs after move-out and getting your deposit back. Train noises are negligible, depending on location of your apt in relation to the RR tracks. One of the few apts where notice is 60-day and not 30-day.
