I would not recommend Park Club to anyone! The first day I moved in should have been an insight in to how this experience was going to be. I moved in on the first day of the month, which was a Saturday. After the lease had been signed and all that stuff, they said to come to the front office and pick up the key. So, I get there around 10am or so, go in to get the key, and the lady had no idea that I was moving in today, she said she didn't have the key and that the apartment I was going in to had not been checked for anything. How upset was I when I got there with two truckloads of crap ready to unload''' After waiting for about 35-40 minutes, she finally found a key and gave it to me. She said for us to perform the first inspection (as normal tenants are to do anyway) and to turn it in later that day. End result with this situation is that they weren?t prepared, which disappoints me about businesses these days. Lack of service!

Next issue ? Maintenance! I gotta tell ya, the maintenance guys themselves are good guys, I got to know several of them pretty well. They work hard and generally do a good job. The problem that I have with Park Club is that when I reported an issue, I had to wait almost a week for each issue to get resolved. The first issue was a water stain on the ceiling, possibly from the washer upstairs. I reported it on a Thursday. I got a call the following Wednesday wanting to know when a good time to come in was. I informed them that I checked that box that says YOU MAY ENTER WHEN I AM NOT HERE. She laughed and said ok?.DUH!! Keep in mind that almost a week has gone by. No one had done anything on that following Monday, so I called again and asked what the deal was' The guy there said that a maintenance guy would be out in a day or so. I saw a note was left on my back door stating that he painted the stain on the ceiling. This note was left the following Friday. This issue took two weeks to get resolved for a simple painting over the ceiling. Granted, this isn?t of the highest priority, but still, two weeks'''

Another maintenance issue was with the garbage disposal. The tank below became unattached and looked like it was rotting away. I called this in on a Saturday. The maintenance guy came out actually pretty quick on that Tuesday and said that he would need to completely replace the tank and they were out of stock, so he would need order one. Another two full weeks went by, and I hadn?t heard anything, so I called the front desk again. They said that they didn?t have any record of me reporting a problem and that this was news to them. After I told her that a guy has already come out to the place, she said she has no idea how he knew about it. Amongst frustration, I hung up. I saw the maintenance guy around the complex a few days later and asked him if he could do me a favor and try to get this installed without mentioning this to the front office. I can?t really elaborate on what else happened after that, but I had a new garbage disposal the next day!

My next issue has to deal with an injury that I had. I can?t really go into details about this for legal reasons, but it was handled very poorly and unprofessionally.

My last issue has to deal with our notice to leave after the lease was up. We turned in our notice to leave about 60 days before the lease was up (the complex required at least 45 days). I dropped it in the mail slot on a Saturday, and called on that following Tuesday to verify that it was received. The lady at the desk said she received it and that she would enter it into my file. Well, 65 days later, I get a letter in the mail at my FORWARDING ADDRESS asking where my rent was! I called them and said that I moved out 5 days before. She said she didn?t have any record of us moving out or a notice being received. I told her that I dropped it off within 60 days of moving out, and then called and spoke to a lady, who I identified by name, who told me that she received it and entered it into my file. Over two weeks of continuous calls back and forth between me and the property manager, she FINALLY agreed to waive it.

You are not the only one who lives in the apartments that need maintenance. They can't just drop what they are doing because you want to wine about some stupid paint job.

I agree with what you said out stove smells of GAS everytime we cook with it, it smells so bad that it fills the entire apartment and they have been out here three time and said" we can't find nothing wrong with it" bull crap!! I called the gas company and they confirmed that IT WAS GAS AND CO being destributed thru out the house and they got the stove fixed cause they shut it off and put a big orange tag on it that says STOVE NEEDS SERVICE IMEDIANTLY. To hell with these people. they want you dead and they want your money. STAY AWAY
