So to start off there is a no pet policy. I have seen multiple dogs and cats outside and in apartment windows. My neighbor has told me that they have complained to the new manager (so have others) and nothing is done. So apparently no other rules have to be followed either. I keep hearing that these people will be reprimanded and nothing apparently is done. Also the appliances are from the 1980s. Old and crappy. Air condtioning is a window air conditioner placed in a hole in the wall. It's either really HOT or Cold. Mostly HOT. The heat is on the ceiling, so I am basically paying to heat the neighbors. Carpet is disgusting though I was told before I moved in it would be steam cleaned. It looks like they just got it wet. And it smelled like cat pee (again I was told no pets). On the plus side, maintenance has been very timely and helpful. Grounds are pretty safe and there is usually plenty of parking. I will not be renewing my lease. You get what you pay for.

I am an employee at this community and am very offended about some of the statements posted, especially the title. I work very hard at this property and put a lot time and effort into it. It is true that we do not allow pets. I have done my best to keep residents from sneaking pets into our community. If there was a dog seen on the property it is from the community across the street and I have spoken with her to not walk her dog on our grounds. Whoever wrote this I am very sorry that you are unhappy with the carpet, the heat, the appliances and myself. I would like you to know that these are not brand new apartments. We do have appliances that are older but they work and when they don't we will fix them or replace them with new. The same goes for the carpet, I must have not been here when you moved in because we have a great carpet cleaner on our team now. If the carpet is worn and damaged we have no problem replacing it. Again, I am sorry you had a bad experience here at Pierpont, I wish you the best wherever you go. Thank you for taking the time to read my response.

Im writing in response to the employee. This was not a personal attack on you. It is my ratings of my apartment and experience, but thank you for such a quick response. These pets are not from the community across the street especially when you can drive by and see them in people's windows. That isn't my problem it's that multiple complaints have been made and still nothing is done. I was aware when I moved in that these were not brand new and didn't expect as much. But I also didn't expect to have 20 year old appliances that barely work and be told by office staff that there is nothing that can be done about them, since they still work. The carpet should have been replaced before I moved in. This place is outdated and needs some serious renovations.

I agree with Anonymous. The air conditioning units don't cool the places and all they do is run up the bills. There is always water problems there. Everything is outdated. Multiple familys living in one unit. It is just a mess and I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone.
