On moving in(end of 2006), I noticed that the floor boards were very very noisy....infact at some points on the floor the boards moved so much that the noise used to come from the adjoining walls as well! I promptly gave a written complaint and did not move into that room so that it could be fixed without any inconvenience from the furniture. I gave them 3 business days and then went over for an update. No office staff was present. When I informed the manager of the issue, she told me point blank that it cannot be fixed. I told her that I would not complain for minor rickety-rackety noises...this noise was big enough to wake my baby even if I tiptoed. I told her very politely that there is nothing that cannot be fixed. She very rudely asked me to wait outside till the maintenance crew came over.....and even as i was speaking to her, she lifted up the phone dialed a number and started chatting over the phone!!! I have never seen such appalling behavior!! When the maintenance crew arrived, she started telling me that 'Houses are built that way'!!! I am an engineer by profession, when I heard that 'houses are built with creaky floors' explanation from her(the manager of Polaris pointe!), I did not know whether to laugh or feel sorry for her! Anyways....thanks to the maintenance crew of polaris pointe (they are very helpful and polite).....They fixed it up as best as they could by putting in more screws and nails....it stopped some of the noise coming from the walls but the floor boards still creak BIG time! I wrote an email to the NY office of Clover Management but did not get any reply. It was only recently that I hit upon this site and read the other complaints and I am not surprised. I dont understand how anyone can get away with this appalling customer service and behavior in the most civilized and advanced country in the world!!!!! SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
