THIS PLACE IS A DUMP... STAY AWAY!

When I moved in here in May 2004 it was a really nice place. The property manager was really nice and told the roommate and I the place had some issuse but she was taking care of all the problems and cleaning up the place and getting rid of people who were causing trouble.
Then a year had passed and the property manager left. We got a new property manager. Things went down hill FAST... We had trouble with our furnace blower where it would stop working during that whole year and the maintenance staff would come and oil it or clean it and it would work for a month then stop working. Finally it stopped working for good. I put in a work order and it took someone a week to come over and look at it. I was told they would give me a new furnace because so many people had worked on it in the past that it was messed up. The new furnace came in and to make a long story short... it took them 33 days to get my new furnace in. When the new furnace was installed the young kid who installed it was not certified to fix in Heating/Cooling and was learning,he had to keep calling someone else to know how to hook the wires up to the thermostat. After he got it running the A/C would not shut off and ran all the time unless I shut the circuit breaker off. Finally they got it fixed right. Although, they did put a new furnace in the A/C unit is always needing charged due to it being so old. Also, when the kid insalled the new furnace he did not properly place it up against the old return air vent and he simply placed a filter in beside the fan and told me that was fine! The air was not properly being filtered so I had to tape off the large gap between the new furnace and return vent.
These places are about 23 years old and the windows are old and drafty and so are the doors. Parking close to the office area is decent but anywhere else on the property parking in a nightmare. Pot holes all over the place. My garage has leaked ever since I lived here. My floor in the large bedroom squeeks so badly I had to move my bed over it and walk around the bed into my room. I am not talking small squeeks, I am talking creeking so loud it wakes the roommate in his room.
Office staff is constantly changing and VERY VERY RUDE! With my furnace problem I tried to contact the property manager, but she never once returned any of my calls and I even called the New York office where Clover Management is located who runs Polaris Pointe and they will not return ANY calls either.
My kitchen flooring was yellow looking when I moved in 2 years ago and was told by the 1st NICE property manager it would be replaced when I renewed my lease because it is a defect in the flooring and was yellow in a lot of units that were remodeled. When she left the new propery manager would NOT have it replaced.
Pets and LARGE dogs are aloud here, but most people don't clean up after the dogs. Most of the trees on the property closer to the office are locust trees which DRIP SAP constantly on cars.
The maintenance people are made to do everything from cleaning vacant apartments to repairing the roofs and they are over worked. Cleaning of the carpets from the last I heard was done by a floor buffing pad and I am sorry but that does NOT clean carpets properly. They try to do whatever they can as cheap as they can to save money.
Also, they will let anyone in with a pulse to live here so beware! A lot of college kids are moving in who like to party all night long and the office will not do anything about the noise and trash laying around including beer cans laying behind my car I have found many times.
They DO NOT do treatments to control insects either. So if you don't mind ants, spiders, silver fish (has about 100 legs and moves like the wind and eat clothing too), and other critters then you might be ok here. If you move here bring some cats, they usually eat bugs because mine do.
Polaris Pointe has a volley ball court too, BUT since the new property manager has taken over the net constantly gets torn down by kids and the sand (what is left of the sand) has broken glass in it so BEWARE. Also noticed on the last day we were there there is some type of bees nest in all of the sand (what is left of the sand) on the volleyball court. While moving, the moving people noticed it and pointed out the bees swarming over the sand, this is very unsafe if you are allergic to bees!
I am moving in 4 days to my new place and can not wait to get out of here!

First of all, we don't own a dog, never have. Oh and by the way you do not have a yard, this is an appartment. Second of all, there are assigned parking spots. We paid for a parking permit to park our vehicles in front of our garage and our patio. As for the music???? Are you kidding?? The bass thump alone is enough to move the pictures on my wall, and yes it always on and rarely is it turned off until late into the evening. You say we are looking for a way to cause problems? We have never had a problem with any of our neighbors in the 3 years we have lived here. As for posting comments on here it is still the USA right? Freedom of speech and all that. We did not use any names or addresses, therefore it is impossible for anyone to identify us or you. As for banging on the wall, I did that one time because it was 4:00 AM and I wanted to get some sleep. Pardon me for being to polite to not call the police at that hour. Again I will not post names or addresses' because in the long run I just don't care to have an argument over this.
