I LOVED my apartment. I love the layout. I love the space. I love being in an end unit, having a garage, a big kitchen. It's great I know, I lived here. HOWEVER, I would seriously consider looking elsewhere. My husband and I have lived here a year and as soon as the lease ends-- We're getting the hell out of here!
The management is not just bad, it's adolescent at best. The girls in the office are extremely rude, and don't care that this community is your home and where you rest your head at night, and neither does the corporate office. CLOVER MANAGEMENT made a lame peace offering to pay our gas bill for a month,after a run-in with the office girls, and never made good. Yeah- the corporate office. That's when we decided it was time to go, clearly our money would be better spent at a place that actually cared we lived there and actually paid our rent on time.
The neighborhood is going downhill FAST. There is garbage everywhere, dog poop everywhere. We've had items stolen off our porch, and in front of our garage. We reported these thefts, not only to the police, but to the office, to which the girls told us- then don't leave anything on your porch to be stolen:flip flops, patio furniture, tiki torches, rugs etc. (isn't that the point of having a patio' And why didn't you tell us people steal stuff around here')
The maintenance is a joke, make sure you check out the fancy handrail they installed right in front for the blind guy, true craftsmanship & dedication to the people who live here. The day we moved in, I ran a load of laundry and the pipes backed up for some mysterious reason no one can explain, and flooded the laundry. Which is no big deal, except it's on the second floor and water ran through the ceiling pouring into the dining room all over everything and that handy 24-hour maintenance couldn't come til the next day. And the beautiful brown water spots on the ceiling got spray painted out with a different shade of white.(thanks!!)It's Pothole city, the roof blew off last summer and is yet to be fixed. The floor CREAKS and the hole building is leaning to one side so the closet doors don't stay open or closed. Don't kid yourself, the windows are crap. I didn't think it was a big deal either, til I watched my curtains flap in the December breeze blowing through my living room. Don't bother planting flowers, the lawn crew chopped down my sunflowers and blew grass into the flower beds, and wiped dog ---- on the sidewalks from the bottom of their shoes--- yummmay! And there's a fierce college crew that will puke in your parking spot every evening, welcome home!
Our soon to be ex-neighbors have an obnoxious pitbull that barks- all hours- of all days. One plus, I'm sure if you didn't tell them you had a dog- they would never know and wouldn't charge pet rent. Because, well, they don't care! And you get to learn everything you never wanted to know about your neighbors:Super thin walls, I can hear my neighbors when they're talking at a normal volume, scouts honor. I'm not lying. This place blows. Photos attached!
I hope you read this before you put a deposit down on some crazy move-in special. Go down the road to the place by the railroad tracks- TRUST ME!

I'm with you! I looked at the spot by the railroad tracks and it is way nicer. Except you'll just have to deal with the passing train every other evening and its LOUD!! I lived in that neighborhood behind those apartments for 10 years. Otherwise... again,... I'm just as disenchanted as you. I've been there a year and cannot wait until my lease is OVER!

hate to tell u but i am out before the lease ends.....my cars have beeen vandalized...ceiling ruined things in the garage that they wouldnt replace due to the fact i had been on them for 3 months to put up a tarp or fix it....my truck has been "tag", tires slashed....i have had enough. they didnt get a "sercurity" golf cart rider until the office was shot @ and to top it off they take section 8 now
