The apartment leasing management is fairly incompetent with the exception of one gal in the office. In fact, I'll only deal with her when negotiating lease arrangements or if I have maintanance requests. You'll figure out who it is really fast, as she treats people with respect and is pretty smart.

Remington has a very diverse mix of residents. I moved in and didn't realize I was living next to the "Animal house." After a month's worth of complaints the tenants were evicted and since then it has been great. There are sections of the property, that I would not live in at all. Fortunately, where I am there seems to be minimal issues.

I have a 2 bedroom, 3-story unit and the layout is fantastic. People can be in the basement and you don't hear it upstairs. I NEVER hear my neighbors. Of course, I'm lucky. I have great, quality neighbors on both sides of me.

If you pay your bills on time, you really won't have a problem with management.

Parking can be a pain if you have multiple vehicles. You have a garage and one assigned parking space. Some people don't use their garage and feel the need to park in your space or fill the visitor's parking spaces. If someone is in your spot, just call and they'll be towed. Don't expect to park in someone else's space and not be towed - you will.

If you refer someone, you get paid pretty darn fast.

It's relatively cheap for the amount of space you get. It's close to Easton and once the construction is complete traffic won't be such a snarl. Overall, I'd recommend it if you're only going to be there for a couple of years at max.

I am getting ready to move to this complex. Could you tell me what part you would not move in? I am a bit nervous about the part of the neighborhood that I am moving in.....

Bate and switch they offer you a low price when you move in but wait till you renew ouch much higher than other complexes. better plan on at least 40 a month increase your following year if you wish to stay.

The area that is questionable is most likely the center section of chimney rock. the people park parallel opposite their house as well as park right in front of their own garage. In that area, it pays to double check before backing out of your garage; someone's car may be there. As for the rent increase, the $40 seems about right but if you have a 12month lease, ask to have it amended to be an 18 month instead in essence extending your rate for 6 months.
