I have been really happy at Village in the Park. Moving from Akron to Cleveland, I expected to pay a lot for rent. After looking at approximately ten places, it was clear that this complex was the best deal. Now, I'm going to be moving back to the Akron area and am having a heck of a time finding a safe place that is affordable and in good condition. Too bad Western Reserve Property Management doesn't have properties in the Akron area!

I have a ground floor apartment, and even though it has central air, I haven't needed to use it until this past weekend.

The only problem I had was when I first moved in, the previous resident must have had a pet because there were fleas in the carpet throughout the apartment. I sprayed flea killer and bombed the place, and after those attempts weren't fruitful, I called management. A subcontractor came and sprayed a couple of times, and not all the fleas were killed. They finally died with the cold weather and haven't returned.

One of the leasing agents, Melissa, left a year or so ago, and I really miss her! The current leasing staff is professional.

I definitely recommend this property. You won't find a better deal!
