Too expensive, management poor

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
I moved in about two years ago when they first built the "village" which is their new town homes. When we moved in we discovered that there were several things broken in our new apartment. Light switches did not work, fixtures were falling out of the wall, etc. It seemed like the apartment was built as quickly as possible without much attention to quality. We submitted 3 maintenance requests to get these fixed and no one ever showed. One summer they also ran an ad that if you referred a friend the would give you $300. I did refer a friend and followed their instructions. I had to fight for 3 months to get them to pay the money they promised and when the check finally came it was for 200 not 300. I also had a friends dog over at my apartment for ONE day and received a call from the maintenance office threatening to evict me. Finally, I received a job out of town and accepted. When I called Pine ridge to let them know I wouldn't be renewing my lease they said that I had not given them 60 days notice so I had to stay for another month and pay a higher rate. Do not live here, you will regret it.
