I was told when I applied for an apartment at Shoregate Towers that the whole apartment was to be "gutted" and all brand new, so I signed a lease. When it came time to move in, I not only did not get a new carpet, but the one they gave me was filthy and covered with spots. The window and sliding glass door locks were broken, the bathroom electical outlet didnt work, there was no dishwasher, as promised, and the phone didn't work. I didn't have any place else to go at that point, so I stayed for one year, disgusted and depressed every time I looked at that nasty carpeting. When summer came, I decided to just enjoy the pool so I could salvage something outta the deal, and guess what'' They FORGOT to mention that the pool cost extra if you want to use it!! I was never so glad to get away from a property as I was when I moved out of there.
