Well I finally got my deposit back. They kept almost all of it. Was charged for cleaning, even though the place was spotless when I left. You could've ate off the floor it was that clean. The manager Tim is a racist biggot. I still have the message he left on my answering machine, after I complained about the neighbors where he referenced the word "------", so if you're black, just know in advance. Funny thing is my neighbors were white. My neighbors liked to vandalize vehicles, and I was told after the first time, that they would be evicted the next time. The next time'''' Why not the first time''' Needless to say after the fourth time, I had enough and moved out, and yet they still live there. I constantly complained about them, and the 8 people that lived in the 2 bedroom apartment. Another thing, is your electric bill is based upon how many people are in the apartment, and divided amongst the bill for the entire building, so if they think 2 people live in an apartment, and there's 8, well that kinda makes your bill alot higher due to the amount of electricity they are using. Bill before they moved in never went over $40, and was anywhere between $60-$85 month after they moved in and I was home less after they moved in. They have so called security there, which is nothing more than someone that drives out when you call, and sits from their car and watches what goes on, never gets out or does anything else. If you complain to the management, they have a "talk" with them, and of course you have them pissed off at you, and decide to confront you, which I had done from 3 different neighbors, and of course they love to vandalize cars there too. We won't even get into the weekly parties until 5am either. The police department is a joke, it takes on average about 40 minutes for them to respond to any call, and they aren't even 10 minutes away. The maintenance is a joke as well. They check the filter in your apartment every 3 months, as well as the smoke detector, and hoses on the washer/dryer. My smoke detector became defective, they told me they'd have a new one out there the next day, 4 months and a dozen calls later, still no smoke detector. This is against the law, and yet they didn't care. They also let little kids wonder the complex unattended, and people drive through the complex like it's the Daytona 500, including the school buses. After about 5 months of living there, I noticed a big decline in the type of people that moved there, and it got worse as time went on. Pretty bad when it's cheaper to live in an aparment, then a trailer park, cause all that lives there now, is inbred trailer trash. Only good thing I can say, is you get a good deal on cable tv, but that's about it. If by now you haven't figured it out, then you will fit right in at The Links, and unfortunately I didn't even get into the time there was a child molester "hanging" around.
