I've been living at Hamilton Crossing for about 6 months and it's worked out really well so far. I live in a two story layout. I like that it has lots of windows for natural light. It's relatively new construction so there's not much to complain about. I will say that the builders must have been slightly retarded because they put the thermostat on the second floor in front of a window, so in the winter the upstairs would be a sauna while the downstairs was always cold because the small amount of heat would rise into the "vaulted" ceiling; and no, turning the fan on backwards didn't help because there wasn't enough heat building up to be pushed around, just cold. It is nice right now because the downstairs stays pretty cool and all of the windows upstairs allow lots of breezes to come through and cool off. The cabinets have fixed shelves so storage is a little hard but there is lots of built-in storage for a duplex. It's pretty safe though and it's a nice area. It's mainly small families or older singles that live here so it's generally pretty quiet. It's right off hwy 66 so getting to work is easy for me. This is the first place I would renew my lease at so that's a pretty big deal for me because I move every year. I think, given the opportunity, I would consider moving into the 2bed, 2bath one story plan to help with heating and cooling bills. My only consideration is that I feel safer sleeping with the windows open in the two story. Overall, I really like it, it works for me.

You will find that if you do have any issues that the "mis-managers" will be of very little or no help. Instead of calling for Maintenance, I have just started to fix things myself. Lawn service is provided, but if you want it to look decent be prepared to mow it yourself and get a leaf blower as the idiot that rides the mower seems unable to accomplish both tasks. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE PEST CONTROL. Turnover is horrible.
