I have lived here and let me tell my horrible experiences. The shrubs are always needing to be trimmed and parking is horrible. i work until 9pm and i always have to park several buildings down from where i am at. it was fine for the first couple months, but i started to notice that they painted over mold and dirt as the months went on. the paint in the tub started to peel away a few months into my lease revealing mold and it looks dirty no matter how hard i try to clean it. the water heater poured out water in my closet one time because there was not a proper drainage pipe installed, so it slowly leaked into my closet. (i never went in the closet so there was mold all over my clothes and uniforms when i finally found it). the water heater a couple months after that again leaked every where into the bedroom and living room, ruining a lot of family portraits and basic training portraits. The window sills always leak every few months and all they do is recock it on the outside. so now the window sills are yellow. i don't know how many times i have called about the dishwasher falling on top of me because the screws pop out no matter how many times that try to fix it. the dishwasher itself is ancient and is rusty and needs to be replaced. the area around the apartments is horrible. my husband's car has been broken into and they stole his stereo, amp, and speakers. i know that other cars in these apartments have been broken into. i have heard gun shots in the neighborhood behind the apartments a couple times. the office manager barbara is a very rude person and is horrible about managing the apartments. she is very disrespectful when there is a problem and unwilling to help. the facilites onsite are in poor condition. there are always problems with the washers and dryers they never have fixed no matter how many times i report them. the pool is gross and there are always a lot of kids that don't live in these apartments that swim in the pool that crowds it in the summer. i have written to the person who owns the apartments about the many issues and never heard back from him.

my over conclusion for casa rene apartments is that they are very old, and they try to hide the problems when you first move in, creating a false appearance of how well the apartments are taken care of. i would not recommend these apartments to anyone.
