I lived here for two years, during that time the complex went through 5 apartment managers, in fact 3 of them lasted less than a month; they also went through 6 maintence men during the two years I lived there. While the apartments are comparitively new , they are kind of on the run down side. Broken down cars in the parking lot, windows missing screens, graffitti on the walls and lots of trash.
The pool was almost always closed during the summer, they would open the pool late(usually a week or two after Memorial Day) , close it early(usually a week or two before Labor day) and had it closed every Monday for cleaning and sometimes on Tuesday also, and sometimes they would not open it at all and keep it closed for a week or more. The pool is very small and only 5 1/2 feet deep, and if you think the pool is small , you should see the laundry room, the closet where I live now is bigger than the laundry room at The Gardens; there is no room to fold your clothes, there is no room to hang any clothes up. And there is room for only one person in the laundry room at a time. If you live upstairs the stairs are steep and hard to get your stuff up them , if you live downstairs then everytime someone goes up the stairs it sounds like someone is beating a drum . I had the problem of living downstairs from some people who partied all the time, they would go out at midnight and then come home with friends at 2-3 in the morning and wake me up going up the stairs. Then they would keep up the noise until 5-6 am when they would send their company home and sleep until time to party again. I complained to apartment management and they would do nothing.There was also a problem with vadalism while I lived there, my neighbor next door had someone try to break into her apartment, and someone hit her car and put a big scratch into it. Someone backed into my rear bumper and damaged it, and the girl in another apartment had someone break into her apartment in the middle of the day and steal her laptop computer. There is no security on site at all. I also heard at least 3 people living in these apartments are dealing drugs on a part time basis.The apartment manager who was there when I moved out is rude, but I hear she is no longer there(I hope she got fired)

There is plently of parking and the spaces are pretty large.Also on the plus side the bedrooms are large and so are the bathrooms and the closets, there is no doorbell so you have to knock on the doors pretty loud to get someone to answer. Over all I would never move in here again unless major changes are made to this complex.

Finally I would like to state that after spending 3 days cleaning the apartment from top to bottom, and giving then almost 2 months notice of moving , when only 30 days notice was required; I still have not gotten my deposit back. I have left messages with the regional manager and she will not return my calls.
