I'm not picky about where I live, but I would not consider moving there had I known about the place.
The staff is rude and incompetent. I moved in with two students and was not a student. They said if we were all students, we could not live there. SO, I was told to get something from UCO to prove I wasn't a student. Does that make sense' Couldn't I have been a student elsewhere' Do universities have forms for everyone who is not attending'
A few times they cashed our rent checks and then told us we did not pay. If they did not tell us we "hadn't paid" in time, we were threatened with late fees and court. That had to be straightened out more than once. Proving to the apartment that they cashed our checks and had our money became rather annoying.
I mistakenly made a rent check one dollar less than it should have been. The next month I got a letter stating my previous month's rent was late, I was being charged fifty dollars for that, and I would be sued within the week if it were not paid in full. Could they have just asked me for the dollar' Perhaps.
Despite keeping a clean apartment, we had roaches constantly coming up through the bathroom sinks.
They charged us a late fee for our moving out form when it was turned in three months early. We steam-cleaned the carpets and were nevertheless billed for that again.
As mentioned by another reviewer, it's the ghetto. We actually had kids just walk into our apartment twice. Playgrounds ensure kids are screaming and playing as late as midnight.
It was an all around miserable experience. If you have any other choice at all, make that one.
