Hidden Village, now Boulder Creek Apartments was recently bought around August of 2008! The new owners have torn out the ugly problematic bushes, landscaped, completely re-did the pool, put in a fitness center and a tanning salon and have actually responded to maintenance issues! The new remodelled apartments with wood floors have been offered to existing tenants and the new people put in to the apartments are nice. The bad neighbors I had are gone and no further problems walking around at night, there are actually lights! I can now recommend the property and am proud to have people over. Had to let you know that my past review does not reflect the owners now- we actually know who they are and they talk with their tenants and care about our ideas and suggestions! They catered a party after they bought it to meet their tenants and discuss problems. Night and Day to the old landlord!

Wow, please do not be gullible enough to believe this review. This was NOT written by anyone who had formerly left a bad review, as it claims. I can say that with certainty because I personally know every person who left those negative reviews, and none of them have changed their minds to like this awful place. The only explanation is that the new owners wrote this review themselves, and said that everything the negative reviews pointed out have been fixed. It was true that they cut down a couple trees (and butchered some beautiful Bradford Pears while they were at it), but that plus adding some crappy cheap flags to the curbside (which only stayed up on the poles for a couple days) was the extent of this ??????landscaping.?????? The fitness center and tanning salon that they brag about aren??????t even available to all residents -- only people who want to pay ridiculous membership fees in addition to the ridiculous amount of rent they are already paying for these old nasty apartments. ??????Wood?????? floors are not *REAL* wood, they only look like wood to a legally blind person without their glasses on. The tenants living in the unremodeled apartments have to pay the same amount of rent as the people who have the nicer ones. Some of the trashy people have moved out due to the rent increase, but there are still a ton of bad neighbors, INCLUDING the manager??????s twin sons who run around with the rest of the kids vandalizing stuff. I still wouldn??????t walk outside there at night even if you paid me -- there are still a LOT of thugs hanging around. And lights often stay burned out for months before they get replaced, so don??????t believe that junk either. The siding still blows off the buildings every time it is windy and the grounds still have broken glass all over. And the manager SMOKES IN THE OFFICE! So now you can??????t even breathe when you go in to pay your rent. In short, this place is still crappy -- the only real difference now is that you are paying a ton more money for the same old crap.

I agree, this review must have been written buy the owners, it is all lies.
