I've only lived here a litte more than a month and I am very glad I signed a short lease.

Legacy Woods is certainly functional as a place to stay in a decent neighborhood. It is clean, the staff is cordial, and the appliances are nice.

However, for new apartments, the windows are incredibly drafty and the poor heating system can't compete against the cold air. You can literally feel the cold air coming through the blinds just by putting your hand next to them.

Also, people drive like absolute idiots through the parking lots. The place is dire need of speed bumps. Someone's dog got hit a few weeks ago, and it seems like it is only a matter of time before a person get nailed. Also, I have lived here a month and a half and the gates have been closed only three times. The rest of time everyone and anyone could drive on through.

Summary: Nice people, nice appliances, but you are going to freeze during colder months and constantly be on the lookout for the lunatic drivers.

This person is right on the money...I am new to the place and completely agree on most points. The staff is semi cordial and seems confused and sometimes rude. The white trash use the streets for their own personal nascar track. I had to clean mold off a few of the vents when I moved in, I don't dare to look to see what is inside there. The people at the pool act crude and have no sense about them. It gets loud with the other college kids here, and nobody seems to care. The wind blows and you think your windows are going to come in at you...and that is when there is no storm.
