I have lived in my 2-bedroom apartment at Oxford Oaks for a few months now, and so far it is has been an okay experience. The noise level can get loud on weekends due to the generally young population that lives here, and many of these parties end with beer bottles and other trash strewn everywhere. The staff does a good job of cleaning up after these parties, so the apartment grounds look nice most of the time. The other issue with this situation is parking. Parking can get quite scarce in the evenings and on weekends.

The interior layout is nice, and the color scheme is neutral, so it's a typical apartment look. The layout is roomy with a large living area (for an apartment). I found my apartment in decent condition upon move-in, but it could have been cleaner. The main problem I have with the interior is the lack of light. I had to go out and purchase several lamps after I moved in due to the lack of light. There is no direct light in the center of either bedroom or the living room.

The fitness center is a nice amenity, and it now has a tv/vcr to use while exercising. The apartment complex also has a tennis court, soccer field, and two swimming pools/jacuzzis.

Overall, I think that the apartment is a good deal. Oxford Oaks has some great offers throughout the year, so I would suggest taking advantage of one if you plan to move here. Compared to other communities in the Edmond area, I feel that Oxford Oaks ranks at the high end. It is very close to I-35 and UCO making it convenient for most people, and the staff will work with you to make your living experience as nice as possible. With some complexes, I felt that after I signed the lease, I was stuck and no one cared, but here, I feel that my concerns are heard and taken care of in a timely manner.
