I would not recommend this apartment complex. It is ideal for a short-term while you find a better, safer place to stay. I have known people whose cars have been broken into and had stereos, etc. stolen. They were once a gated community, out with the gates the security has gone. I have also heard about two cars getting stolen from within the apartment complex within the past year. The maintenance people are very friendly, but that is where they stop. When repairs need to be made and they are not done promptly but instead in two weeks. After which a huge mess is left. And I am not talking about major repairs. They are all for show, Oxford Oaks does not have the highest rent in Edmond, but considering majority of their residents are college students the rent is high. I do not mind paying for quality and safety, something they have failed to provide over and over. Finally moving out of here!
