Okay. I think it's time that someone speaks up for Oxford Oaks. After reading all the previously posted reviews, I am surprised at how many of them refer to how "screwed" they got, simply because they are college students. It must be difficult to work in an apartment office that deals with spoiled, rich college kids, living off of their parents' money, and never learning the meaning of the word, 'RESPONSIBILITY.' Basic lesson number one: If you damage your apartment, YOU ARE GOING TO GET CHARGED FOR IT!!! Don't live in an apartment if you plan to disturb your neighbors by partying until 2:00 every morning, and then leave your apartment in a wreck when you move out. These are things that you cannot do in an apartment, and learning this is a part of GROWING UP. It's not just an Oxford Oaks policy. It's life. Deal with it.

Basically, if you are turning to this site for guidance in looking for an apartment, PLEASE do not let these other reviews change your mind about Oxford Oaks. As a RESIDENT, (not as a leasing agent trying to keep my job), I can assure you that this is a good place to live. I've been here about 2 years, and I have no complaints. I fully recommend this place to consider when looking for a home.

I agree that this review appears to be a leasing agent trying to save face,but it just isnt working. ( SPARE ME ! }

Definitely one of those leasing agent trolls... a typical pleased customer would not make the time to post anything positive... I work retail and we never get positive comments. Edmond is a middle class college town and having the stereotypical college student living there should be no surprise. I actually am posting this because I was trying to find their phone #, their outdated website phone # is out of service.

Yeah, why on EARTH would someone want to actually post what they're really thinking on an 'apartment ratings' website? ...That just doesn't make any sense at all. Hmmmmm... BTW, djonline, I'm thinking that if you don't EVER get any positive comments from customers in your line of work, then you're in the wrong profession.

only a leasing agent would get so uppity about a negative review. i think i will report oxford oaks' staff members to the better business bureau for these fake positive reviews and the way the contract states the staff members are not even required to be truthful. et cetera. these cannot be ethical business practices.
