DO NOT LIVE HERE PERIOD!!!!! This is the worst place to live in Edmond, Oklahoma. The only reason i lived here is because I moved to Edmond around the holidays and nothing else was open. I should have been homeless for a week or two then found a good place to stay. Within a week of living at Getto Creek a pipe upstairs was leaking water, which ran down into my living room, making a large wet mess on the floor. It was later in the day so i called the emergency phone number and someone was over in the next 15 minutes. Unfortuneatly, getting someone over during the night or weekend because of an emergency is the only thing this place ever did good. I told them the problem and they didn't do anything about it. In fact, they told me that it was from a busted pipe under my apartment and they would have to dig a hole in my apartment to fix it, even though there were water stains already forming on my wall. They finally got the problem fixed the next day, but nothing was done to get the water and water stains out of the carpet and wall. After three days of complaining someone came out and tried to clean up the watery mess. Unfortuneately, my apartment smelled like dog crap by then and of course they didn't try to get the smell out. After 2 more days of complaining they finally came and put some good smelling stuff on the carpet and got more water out of the rug. The smell was in the apartment for another two weeks and im sure there is still mildew under the carpet. This was only in the first month of living at this getto/trashy/crime-ridden place. Other things that have went wrong while staying in hell for 6 months were faucits not working correctly, water backing up in sinks because all the drainage pipes connect into one(which is illegal), loud screaming of probably rape all of the time, loud parties until the early morning hours, cars being broken into, animals using the balcony as a bathroom with pee and poop falling into your balcony, and nothing getting fixed correctly and within two weeks of when reported. If you do accidently live here and something really bad or unsafe happens call the Department of Health and they will make sure the problem is fixed and you will get out of your lease. As said before this place is getto, it smells, bad people live here, and the staff sucks. DO NOT LIVE HERE PERIOD!!!!!
