After being unemployed and near financial ruin, I was blessed with an opportunity to work in the Lawton area. I moved from a nearby state and needed a place to stay. As all of you looking for apartments will find out, Lawton does not offer too many places that are appealing and safe. Crosby Park was my second choice and I was backed against the wall. I signed the lease and paid the $150 for application fees and deposit to hold the apartment. I then found another, less expensive living arrangement. When I asked to get my $100 deposit back, I was given the tough luck speech. YES! the lease was signed however, I was hoping for a bit more compassion from this operation. In my opinion, this operation is not looking out for your best interests. Too bad there are so many people in this world that only see greed and disdain for those in trouble. I would sleep in a box before contemplating living here.
