There hasn't been any incident in this neighborhood where Melrose Crossing is since April 2008. Security has been hired, and two of the four apartment buildings have been completely renovated.
The police department also said that Lawton has property crime throughout the city, and that the area where Melrose Crossing is about average. Protect your property, and use caution with your personal items and you'll be fine in Lawton.
The management is now requiring background checks for all residents and their guests. There is a new attitude and no tolerance for any funny business on the property.
The reviews that malign this apartment complex are coming from people who stayed at Melrose Crossing long before the renovations and the changes that have been made to the personnel and the property.
