These apartments have the worst management and office staff I have ever encountered. They almost killed my mother, through negligence, when she lived there. I tried to get the staff to go check on her and they refused. I finally called the police and she was found helpless in the bathroom. In addition, another tenant told me that she had heard my mom calling for help and had called the apartment managers to tell them that she heard someone calling for help. Thus, even though they had a report of someone needing help they still refused to check on my mother.
I had power of attorney so I guess that makes me the renter by proxy.
The walls must be very thin if a neighbor heard her calling for help. They would not give her deposit back and tacked on ridiculous fees after she almost died there and had to move.

This is ridiculous! The ladies in the office are so nice, and maintenance is never an issue. My mother had a stroke, and once we filled out a key release, they checked on her daily for a week. This is a false review -- do not beleive any thing they are saying!!!!!! They would not be held responsible if this person's mother had died -- they do not have permission to enter an apartment AT ALL without written permission or if the cops are there. Do not beleive this!

That's -------- they would never do something like that. And if he or she was worried about their mother then why didn't they go check on her themselves.

I would not be surprised if this were true. I also had a horrible experience at these apartments and I agree that the staff and management are both ignorant and don't give a rat's ass about their tenants... just their money. I'm so sorry you had to go through this and I hope your mother's in a safer place. So what if you need "documents," you were not available and they could have at least knocked on the door. Geez, it's not like someone's life was in jeopardy, right?!

Thanks - immediately after she was released from the hospital (3 weeks later) I moved her to the state where I live. That was one of the most nightmarish scenarios I have ever experienced in my life, ditto for her. When I was moving my mom one of the people that had worked in the office during the incident came to the door. That person had firsthand knowledge of the incident and was upset about all that had transpired. That person quit or was fired over the incident. The person led me to believe that he/she wanted to check but was told NO. Since it almost led to my mother's death the person was very upset that he/she listened to the boss and did not follow up on a gut feeling that something was very wrong. That's just it - they would not do anything. Apparently there is no law that they have to check on tenants (except maybe a moral one). I live far away in another state and could not get there to check when I first suspected there was a problem. Hence the call for help to the apartment staff. If I had waited until I could get there myself she would have probably been dead. Thus, I am very thankful I called the police. Shame on the management staff. My mom's car was in the parking lot and they would not even check to tell me if they saw her car in the lot or not. This horrible incident happened in 2005. I just want to warn people about the management of the apartments. Hey believe or not that is certainly your right and it is my right to state the truth.
