My husband and I were pressed to find a place when he returned from overseas and we pretty much had to settle for what we could find after staying in post lodging for nearly two weeks (yes, Lawton has that bad of a selection.) We thought this place would be more convenient and a little more cost efficient than the gas/elec. houses that we looked at so we took it. Well, we now pay outlandish bills every month and have to put up with every word the neighbors say, rain coming in our window (we asked them to fix them a month ago... we have yet to see anyone.) We weren't allowed to see the unit before we moved in and I suppose it's good for them we didn't, because I wouldn't have signed that lease... there was still food in the drain and dishwasher, items missing from the house, etc. Was not clean!! Not my definition of it, anyway. We try to stay in on the weekends because we know there's not going to be any parking when we get home. And we still haven't figured out how to turn our light on outside the front door.

On the upside, it does have a small pool which is nice in the hot summer, the closets are huge, the staff is fairly nice, close to shopping. If we could do it over again, I don't think we would rent here. Just because it's newer doesn't mean it's any better. Waaay over priced for the value of craftsmanship and appliances you get here.
