This is a great apartment complex and I miss it dearly.
Good location. Eisenhower school district is in my opinion the best in town.
Walking distance of groceries and fast food.
Safe neighborhood if you have common sense.
There is plenty of parking although you may have to fight with neighbors over the "best spot".
Laundry room is always accessible...and there are plenty of washers and dryers even though some dryers mess up occasionally. [this goes for anywhere: Pay attention to what people wash dry before you dry. Bad experience there with dog toys. Yuk. I guess smell dryers before use, lol.]
Emergency maintainance available 24hrs. Anything involving continuing damage to the apartment or to your utility bills will be immediately fixed any time of day or night.
Do not use garbage disposels. They are too much trouble for a renter to deal with and are your responsiblity to keep clean.
Take garbage out during the day. Lawton is creepy at night.
Apartments are stylish and designed for effecient living with plenty of storage space.
For square footage they are overpriced but overall satisfation is worth it.
High School kids have to cross 67th St. to catch bus. Middle School is right in front of complex.
You will know your neighbors. (like it or not)
Commons room near office is great for socializing as is the pool and poolside picnic tables.
This is a good part of town but do not forget that Lawton is a rough place so use common sense when outdoors.
I was 18 living there with my 19 year old husband and I walked to work and home everyday and never got accosted. The trick to surviving Lawton is to act like you have lived there your whole life...
