I just found this wonderful resource for ratings and couldn't wait to post my experience with this complex. I have read the revues posted here and can relate to all but the positive ones. Anybody who has lived here and either likes the place, or finds the staff friendly is either crazy, a glutton for punishment or used to living in absolute squallor. I lived in my unit for only 4 months before I demanded the apartment management absolve my lease. I was in the military when I was a resident and strongly believe the only reason I was appeased was because I involved the base and my lawyer in my dispute. The facitlies are disgusting. The apartments are bug infested, and the materials used are of the poorest quality. The carpets are cheap and dirty, and the plumbing is unbelievably dilapidated. The complex is filled with crime, "gang" members, and residents of the least desireable kind. My unit flooded four times in three months. I refused to live there the fourth month of my tennancy, due to sanitation reasons. Each time my unit flooded, it was sewage that came up through the toilet and the bathtub. The manager is a frightfully disagreeable woman. She does not live on the premesis and could honestly care less about the satisfaction of the residents. She proved to be the most hateful and rude woman I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I was blamed for the flooding in my unit. The manager pointedly accused me of flushing tampons down the toilet. I AM A MAN AND DO NOT MENSTRUATE. Further, I am a --- man and don't have a girlfriend to do it either...oh, I forgot to mention that the suggestion from the management was that my GIRLFIREND was flushing her tampons. These people are slum lords of the worst kind. Each time the unit was flooded with feces, the carpet was simply blown dry with blowers placed under the carpet and then cleaned with a carpet shampooer. The carpet, nor the pad were ever replaced...no matter how many times I suggested and even begged. I was unable to find any way to make this unit, or complex liveable...by even the loosest terms. I would incourrage anyone with a modicum of self-respect and cleanliness to AVOID THIS COMPLEX. If you have the option, I wouldn't even DRIVE by the place. They once proudly hung a banner which read "Expect to be impressed". I guarantee that if you move in, you can "Expect to be DEpressed". I wouldn't allow even an enemy to live in such filth and squallor.
