We lived here for about 1 year. While we'd lived there, we'd had problems with parking, maintenance, and staff, but the big doozy came when we moved out.
We hired a professional to clean our apartment (I checked the place over before we left, and it was spotless), yet they kept both the pet and the security deposit, which totaled around $400. Plus they wanted an additional 1500 dollars to replace the carpet.

They told us we had to replace the -entire- carpet because they found a big "urine" area (that nobody could see - I'm assuming they used a blacklight) coincidentally right where someone has spilled a soda pop and it had gotten cleaned up.

My cat never urinated there. We even insisted they bring in a carpet company , and -that guy- told them that there wasn't urine. (Too anyone who's never had a cat - cat urine smells VERY bad. It's distinctive odor that just gets worse over time. When a cat pees into a carpet, it soaks into the padding underneath, and you can tell.)

Yet they still insisted that we pay 1500 to replace the entire carpet. Carpet that cost a lot, because it was imported from Hawaii (They said). And they needed to replace it in the whole apartment, so that the carpet would match everywhere.

From reading here, it sounds like a regular thing that they pull. I'd think twice before moving into this place. Or at least moving into here with a pet.

Last time I checked.... soda pop doesn't show up with a black light.

The person who probably put up that Anonymous comment was the manager. Ha. I'm definitely NOT moving into this place. It looked so nice from the outside, though! Thanks for the heads up!
