Very Expensive But Beautiful Place

First of all, the management was just awesome, I don't know what issues the other reviewers had but some are never happy. Each time I went into the front office, whether to complain or just pick up mail, they were always very respectful and very helpful. I know one of the main managers also lives in the apartments, and you can catch her walking her dog at night if you have any issues. They also have plenty of resident activities at the main office/clubhouse, and you can rent it out for parties for yourself.
We never really had any maintenance problems, so I can't help you there. I do know that they perform pretty regular maint and they spray for bugs often, but will give you plenty of notice.
Parking sucks in the middle apartments. If you get in anywhere after 5:30 or 6 at night, you may have to walk a bit. It won't make you angry until you see three motorcycles taking up three separate parking spots. :)
Noise level is alright. I rarely heard the people next to me, and there are always going to be rude people shouting in the parking lot. It was never a major complaint of mine, it's just what to expect in apartments.
The apartment itself is gorgeous. The carpet was replaced right before we moved in, but even after a year it would still shed fuzzies (but still a nice carpet). There are plenty of windows so you're not caving it, and the balconies are a nice addition even though the complex won't allow you certain items to be displayed. The doors have two deadbolts, one you lock only from the inside so we always felt pretty secure. It also takes your key to lock the bottom bolt from the outside, so I never had to worry about locking myself out of the apartment. The in-unit washers and dryers are awesome, and there are plenty of closets and built-in shelves. The pool and hot tub were always clean and well-kept, and you're pretty spoiled with the sprayers by the lounge chairs. It is a gated community and there are two patrol cars that sit by each gate. The only downside to that was the gates were never closed, they were always broken for some reason or another.
Unfortunately, rent is outrageous so after my roommate left I had to move out. If you renew your release but sign for fewer months they jack the price up on you. Also Heaven help you if the rent is late and they charge you somewhere in the ballpark of 2% extra in fees for using credit/debit cards, best to use checks. They also do kind of stick it to you when you leave. Depending on what shape your apartment is in, they may or may not return parts of your deposit. However, keep it in good shape and clean it yourself before you leave, and they'll only charge you for the carpet shampooing, which they want professionally done. People complain, but they only want it clean when the next tenants move in so it's only fair.
Overall, this is an awesome place to live if you can afford it. I miss it and wish I could move back, and I would recommend this or any of the Legacy properties to anyone.
