The parking spaces have large oil spots that can rot your tires if you park on them.
The automatic gate means you have to drive all the way around the complex to get in or out, depending on where you live. The drive takes about 3 minutes. The barrier breaks down, and then you can't get in at all, and you have to wait for somebody who knows the emergency code to come by. It's supposed to open when you pass a light beam.
They spray for roaches every 2 or 3 months, even if you never see a roach, and you have to remove everything from your kitchen or pay a $25 fine.
The kitchen tiles are placed over uneven concrete, and the weight of chairs on them causes them to crumble. The management holds you responsible for this.
Mailboxes are vandalized, and not repaired.
The management claims not to have paper records, and sometimes the computer records can't be accessed if somebody is using the computer, or if the computer is down.
They don't permit satellite TV, because they claim you have to have $500,000 fire insurance against lightening strikes, even though cable, telephone and electric lines create a greater risk of lightning strike. The fact is, they just don't want to see the antennaes in the windows.
There must be a lot of gang activity, because the management posts warnings, and notes requesting information.
