I moved in last year because the rent was pretty cheap. They promised I could move in by February, which was good for me since I moved to OK in January and was living mostly out of my car. It took them until the end of April to get an apartment ready for me. I'd paid first months rent up front already and the pet deposit and I had to threaten them because they said they wouldn't give me my money back. When I finally got an apartment, the place was filthy. The owners before me had pets, but the carpet cleaners didn't vacuum before they washed the carpets so there was wet pet hair matted into the carpet. It took me three days of vacuuming to get most of it up and the place smelled like wet dog for weeks. Maintenance didn't come to fix anything promptly, if they came at all. I lived there for six months and had so many problems. First, my AC wasn't working in the middle of summer. My asthma kicked in really bad and it took them all week to come fix it. And then, my ceiling started leaking and they told me it was the AC, and that it would stop in a day or two. After a moth they finally came and 'fixed' the leak so it wasn't flooding my kitchen anymore, but they never fixed the water damage. My carpet mildewed from the water overflow, the ceiling and the wall turned brown and I suspect they mildewed too. It still hadn't been fixed when I moved out. They aren't friendly at all. I'm young, so I have a lot of parties. None of them were noisy as I didn't have CD player or boom box, but my friends would often stay the night and sometimes they wouldn't leave till 3 or 4 in the morning. The landlord tried to evict me because I was "housing people not stated in the leasing agreement". They tried to tell me I was only allowed to have people spend the night twice a week. I also went out of town for a month, and paid them rent up front for that month so my house sitter wouldn't have to worry about it. They sent me an eviction notice claiming I didn't pay rent and I had to come back early to show them the receipts. The pool was never opened even though they claimed to have "sparkling, summer pools" and the laundry facilities only had one washer and one dryer for the whole complex. I was so glad when my lease ended so I could get out of there.
