Huge Disappointment

My boyfriend and I lived in these apartments for over three years. There's never enough parking so if you get there past 9pm you'll find a parking space far from where you live. Not to mention the parking lot lights were usually broken, so that's a dark parking lot you're walking through at night. My boyfriend, step-son and myself frequently got sick ever since we moved in there and didn't figure out why until we moved and haven't been sick yet. There was water damage to the ceiling which exposed the beams and everything else underneath the ceiling when it ripped down from the weight of the water soaked sheeting. Our ceiling remained that way for over TWO MONTHS even after countless polite and exasperated requests to fix it. Then when they finally fixed it all they did was replace the old sheeting with new sheeting and sealed it up. The fungus and bacteria which had grown from the wet wood was never treated. The ceiling, in the same area, was damaged again after a heavy thunderstorm only months later. And guess what, same process to wait to get it fixed all over again. We always had problems with the bathtub but it got really bad to the point where I refused to bathe my step-son in that tub because he would either be burned by hot water or froze by cold water. The temperature changed so erratically you didn't know how hot or cold it would be while you showered. PLUS, there was zero water pressure so you couldn't take a shower you could only take a bath. Also, the apartment was old and run down and they never made good repairs or updates to anything so they just painted over the problems and washed the carpets as best they could so you could never tell when you move in until you've been there for a little while and start noticing cracks, huge holes to let roaches in under the sink, windows sealed improperly letting out warm air during the winter, air ducts clogged probably for years making all our allergies act up and my step-son developing them for the first time. If our next door neighbor smoked, sometimes we could smell the weed coming through our bathroom vent. Our downstairs neighbor always complained that we were jumping around on trampolines because she swore we were having a party, bowling, stomping on the floor to annoy her, etc. All real complaints. She called the cops several times saying we were too loud, and this would be during regular nights of tv watching. The grounds are ugly, nothing special about it at all. The only semi-nice area would be the courtyards behind the apartment. The pools were always dirty during the summer. They didn't clean them often enough and every time we decided to go it would either smell like pee, have bugs galore floating around, have a greenish tint to the water, or have litter around the pool (including broken glass). The management ignored any and all complaints we made. If they ever did show up it was during times we were both at work and they would just let themselves into our apartment when we weren't home. And once they even left a mess for us to come home to that started in the bathroom and branched out into the hallway, bedroom, and the entry to the living room! Sigh, the place should be condemned. It's a disgrace and most apartments are completely unhabitable. Gross, disgusting, not a place to raise a child definitly!
