I moved here about five months ago and of all the apartments I've lived in these are by far the worst. I reviewed the rating for these apartments before I moved in and I went against my instincts along with the reviews. My mistake and a mistake I will never make again. For starters, you are fooled into thinking that because their is a waiting list to live here that its a good thing. All that means is you can't look at the apartment you'll be moving into until after you sign a lease. The model they show you is amazing. However, the REAL DEAL is horrible. The carpet had a dark ring around it when we moved in and they had to come in and re-shampoo the carpet. There are paint splatters and stains on the wall from someone whom obviously was in too much of a rush to pay attention to fix. They had to come in to fix that as well. They were supposed to come back to do more touch ups but they haven't and that was five months ago. I have killed at least one spider a week since I've moved in. I had one in my bed. They claim to exterminate once a month or so. However, I have come to the conclusion; if I have that many spiders in my apartment then I doubt they exterminate as often as they claim. Last but not least management is HORRIBLE. Not only do they procrastinate on responding to maintenance requests...they act as though its a chore to do their job. They intentionally screwed in the cover of the A/C in our bedroom with only one screw so when its time to change the filter...it's easier (more convenient) on the maintenance man. That was told to me by the assistant manager whom I can say is completely rude and unprofessional. Professionalism and courtesy is not in their vocabulary. Not to mention, you can hear your neighbors conversation a little too well. So, if you choose to move here live UPSTAIRS. Overall, I give this place a poor rating all around.

I would like to start off by saying that if little things like that are going to bother you then you are going to hate every apartment you ever live in. I lived at the Fairways about 4 years ago and i moved back last summer. I had my A/C quit working one night in the middle of July, I called the front desk the next morning, and it was fixed already on when i came home from work that day. Also, there is a giant field next to these apartments, so of course there will be spiders sometimes. The best thing about living there is the fact that it doesnt matter what day it is (Mon-Fri), after 10pm it is completely quite. The only thing i dont like about it is the security deposits. When i moved out 4 yrs ago from my old apt, i cleaned and scrubbed the entire place and it looked better than it did when we first moved in there. However, the management never gave me any of my deposit back and they was making up all these excuses why they were keeping it. I have never seen any crime or vandalism, and its a very friendly community. Altogether, i wouldnt want to live anywhere else.

Actually, I enjoy my new place and its staff very much. They are professional and don't sigh when having to respond to a problem. I find it odd that a complete stranger would respond so hastfully to another individuals views and personal opinions of an establishment. I would not be surprised if you were managment. If you like to settle for unprofessionalism and laziness then good for you. However, forgive me if I don't like that type of idiosyncrasy.
