For the most part, I really liked Pebble Creek. Well, I liked the apartments. The office staff could use some help. There's one lady that's just plain lazy and doesn't know anything!! I think for the price they should put nicer cabinets or newer carpet in the units. It would appear that the price goes up signifincantly every year. If they're going to do that, then they need to be giving their tenants new amenities or parking maybe. If you don't get home early you have to park a long distance from your apartment. I didn't like this bc I was always making trips to Edmond to see my parents. I felt rushed all the time bc I didn't want to have to worry about walking a long distance in the dark with my kids to get to my apartment. Other than that, MAKE SURE YOU GIVE A 30 DAY NOTICE TO MOVE OUT!! I didn't give one simply because I hadn't been approved for the place I was moving into. I was applying for affordable housing and it's a long process. I didn't give them 30 days notice bc I didn't know if I was going to be able to move there. I didn't want to tell them I was moving, then have them rent it out to someone else and not have another place to live. I have two small children that I'm responsible for. A member of the office staff did call me around the middle of my last month and I explained that my plan was too move but if I didn't get this other apt. I would have to stay. Well, long story short...I'm now having to pay those sorry bastards $800!!!! All bc I didn't give a notice EVEN THOUGH my lease was up. I didn't stay past the day my lease ended. They claim that your lease doesn't actually end or expire until you give written notice. The lady that called me in the middle of the month made NO mention of this. All she told me was that if I stay on as a month to month that I have to give notice...which is understandable. But if your lease ends and you don't call to renew...HELLO!! I think it's pretty crappy of them to do that to people. It's not like I didn't give a notice bc I just was rebellious or lazy...I was thinking of my kids and I explained that to the office manager. You know what she said' "well if we do that for you we have to do it for everyone." WHATEVER!! Anyway, just make sure you give a notice or they'll screw you over too. I'm sure they're making a KILLING doing this to people.
