Like most people who live here I moved here because of its proximity to I-35, and also its just about the only cheap place on the West side. The apartments are alright, although they were presumably built in the late seventies they are kept pretty clean and updated. However,the layout of my apt is not the best, and the design of the apartments does not allow for a lot of light to enter so my living room is kind of dreary most of the time. Also, I live on the second floor and whenever someone knocks on my neighbor's door which adjoins mine, I can not not only hear it so clearly that its hard to tell if they are knocking on mine or not, but I can also hear very clearly whatever is said near our shared wall. This goes for the balcony as well. The maintenance people are quick and efficient, and the management is also pretty good as they seem to know everyone and be familiar with their apartment-related issues, but not in an obtrusive way.
My other issues with this complex are the neighbors who seem to be kinda trashy as evidenced by the cops that are there every other day it seems. Also, its annoying that you can not purchase sattelite TV and must use COX which can be kinda expensive.
