Brentwood Pointe

I have lived here for 5 months. At first, I thought it was a very nice apartment. Then it went downhill. We have smokers in our building and smoke comes through our vents. They keep saying they don't smell smoke or see any problems, but it is there. They cut off our vents from everyone else so we don't get actual smoke coming through anymore, but it still smells like old smoke, and we have a ton of dust now because of the circulation. The staff has not been very friendly over the whole deal. We even tried to cancel our lease because I have a high allergy to smoke and dust, but they refuse. Another thing is their scare tactics. There are close to 8 dogs in my building, and a letter was sent saying that if maintainance has to pick up dog poop, they will charge everyone with a pet $50 each time. No one picks up after their dog, so why are they going to charge the people who do for other peoples mess? It's all about money for them. For the actual condition of the apartment, it's a toss up. Our apartment's kithen is old and has paint peeling off of the sink. The cabinets are wooden and dusty. As for the walls, they're so think that if you toss a book off the bed and it happens to graze the wall, it will leave a hole.
