Think twice before living at Campus Lodge and make sure you talk to people you trust not affiliated with the complex before you sign a lease. Obviously someone with ties to the apartment is going to talk it up and make it sound wonderful instead of mentioning the numerous bad things. First of all, Campus Lodge is in the ghetto and not even close to OU. The person who said there are 'security' gates forgot to mention they aren't even real gates, just arms that lift up that anyone can get the generic code to or follow someone in. Also, in the 8 months I have lived here one or more of the gates has been broken anyway and they stay up during the day. Other complexes actually have real gates that stay closed at all times without a generic access code. They also make a big deal about private bathrooms or the fact that the apartments are furnished. There are other apartments in the area that are furnished where you get your own bathroom as well. They neglect to mention the furniture will probably have dirt stains on it and that the bathrooms are the size of a small closet with no counter space. The internet doesn't work half the time and they claim it's HIGH SPEED yet never gets above 256K. Not to mention the constant partying and crazy people walking around at all hours of the night.

If you don't believe this, think about the fact that they are having such problems getting people to sign leases for next year that they have lowered the rent from what we are paying by almost $100.00 a month. Why would an apartment that is supposedly so amazing have to LOWER their rent that much just to get people to live there. The fact that cheap rent and the addition of ONE tanning bed is actually their main selling point should speak for itself.
