The office staff has changed hands however the real problem lies with the upper mgmt, not located on property. The apartments are old and are literally falling apart- floors caving in from the upstairs, openings in the windows and doors so wide that even bugs can fly in. No lighting in the living room at all. Be prepared to spend alot of money for utilites because of the drafts and poor upkeep. The selection process for future tenants has gone down the drain. They spend more money for the landscaping up front near the entrance and for the office/clubhouse than they spend on upkeep of the apartments. The pond breaks down frequently, and stays down for months on end with smelly stagnant water. The aircondition units break down on a regular basis and rather than replace them, the "TransWest" manager, Kim, has them "rigged"- thus making only a temporary fix. Ours broke down all summer each summer, and every month, no joke, at that. Parking- forget parking anywhere near your own building. There is supposed to be tenant parking however its never enforced. So as I tenant I have to park on the opposite side of the complex and walk back to my building every night. Dog owners walk their pets and dont pick up the waste- even if its in your yard. Managment does nothing to repeat offenders. All and all, you will be paying entirely too much money for an old apartment, in a complex poorly ran.
