The apartment I had was an efficiency. It was small, but good for just me and my son, and the rent wasn't too bad. My neighbors were young college students who liked to run up and down the stairs at 3 in the morning, as well as pulling up in the early morning with their stereos blasting. There were many dogs that were not kept on leashes that would run around barking all the time. There were also alot of kids that would come from the surrounding neighborhoods and skateboard all in the parking lot.
The management is awful. I had to break my lease early and they charged me an insane amount. And one week after I moved out, they had already rented my old apartment out, and were still charging me for it. The management also told me that I would get my security deposit back, and now 3 months later when I call yet again to see why I haven't received it, they tell me they aren't going to refund it because I broke my lease.

This is not the experience I had when I broke my lease. I talked with the ladies in the office, and they tried very hard to lease my apartment so I wouldn't be responsible for the rest of my lease. I did have to pay back the discounts I received while living here. I did not get my deposit back either, but I was told by the ladies, as well I read in my contract, that I would not get it back. That's less money I owed them! I had a great time when I lived here!
