Don't move here!

These are some of the worst apartments in Norman. Nothing is ever fixed and the dumpsters weren't emptied for weeks at a time (I think there's money problems). Very loud neighbors and two neighbors were selling drugs. The manager is really creepy too.

I don't know if you're talking about the same place I used to live. Squire Village was GREAT when I lived there in 2000-ish. My husband lived in the townhomes around 2000 and they were great as well. I think all the negative comments are referring to Cherry Stone.

This woman a dog in her apartment and was forced to move out. The dog really bothered the law student above her. She was pretty trashy. Now that she is gone, things are pretty normal again.

This is obviously not a fair review. This person needs to learn that in life, if you treat others poorly they aren't as quick to help you out. I have been living in Clarendon Apartments for years and have no trouble with dumpster issues or things breaking and not being fixed. I can't even imagine how you could find the manager "creepy" unless that's some new-age synonym for "friendly".

I think that these responses are hilarious, myself. I am the woman referred to as "trashy" in an earlier comment. I personally know seven people that have either lived or are currently living in the Clarendon Townhomes and Apartments and have the same opinion of the "creepy" apartment manager, Fred, and the same complaints about reoccurring maintenance issues not being taken care of. Just to clear things up, not for my benefit, but for anyone else that could get screwed by this company, I was NOT forced to move anywhere. I was in the process of moving during the last month of my lease when my belongings were removed from my home and thrown away in the dumpster BEFORE MY LEASE WAS UP. If you are considering moving here, please call the Norman Police Department and look this case up. You can find it under Clarendon Apartments. I filed a report of THEFT, because there was no forced entry and my things were removed from my apartment and thrown away. Also, I have a Police Officer who has agreed to testify on my behalf if I decide to sue the jerk. So, in response, this is OBVIOUSLY the uneducated, immature, and undeserving of his position as Apartment Manager, Fred Dowell, who is commenting on these complaints to cover himself as well as the apartments. As for the "trashy" remark, I am a respectable employee of the Oklahoma Supreme Court, and the trashiest move I made was renting from Dowell Properties.
