I have lived here for the past four years in one of the large townhomes. I am finishing up grad school and moving on. Anyway, I am really going to miss this place. The manager is like part of the family. I really think it is the little things that make it nice here. When I first got here, I didn't have any furniture, or a way to pick it up. The manager volunteered to help me pick up the furniture and even helped me move it into my apartment. My second year here, my water heater went out and leaked all over the downstairs floor. The manager showed up within an hour with the plumbers and replaced the water heater. He immediately put me up in the La Quinta for the night. When I got back the next day, he had replaced the carpet and pad in the downstairs living room. That is really the only major thing that has happened. My neighbors all are quiet, and I think most of them are also grad students. I never hear a peep out of any of them. The property is really full of trees, which is nice. That is one of the things besides the location that really got me interested in renting here in the first place. During the ice storm, none of us lost our electricity, but there were a lot of tree limbs down all over the place. I was really impressed at the way the manager was able to handle that emergency and still provide excellent service in all other areas. I have only been late with my rent once and that was when a business trip got extended. I called Fred (manager) to let him know and he did not charge me for being late. The rent is due on the 1st of the month, but the manager gives you until the 5th to get it in. He even allows you to put it through the mail slot if the office is closed. He also accepts packages for tenants. This is great since I am never home. The complex is not new, but the grounds are always kept up and very neat. The maintenance and grounds personnel really keep the place up. I have referred several people to Fred over the years. All of them have been happy as well.
