Emerald Greens

 

I lived in Emerald Greens from 2001 to 2002 and hated it.

I didn't feel very safe in the neighborhood.

My kitchen floor slanted so much that spilled water would run from one end of the kitchen to the other.

My front door had a gap in the bottom which let in a lot of cold air.

I put in maintenance requests for it several times before it was fixed.

My building light fixture outside was out, which made my entry way completely dark.

I lived on the second floor and the stairs were EXTREMELY steep.

I fell down them at one time, scraping my hands, elbows, and knees.

I put in a complaint, but management said they were built to standard.

When I researched and measured the stairs myself, they were NOT built to standard.

Now they are trying to send me to a collection agency b/c I was pro-rated rent for the last two weeks I lived there.

They are trying to make me pay for the full month, even though I signed a contract stating I could move out on the appointed day.
