I lived at an apartment run by the SAME management, and I have been to this complex many times. I would never deal with these people ever again if I had a choice. After renting from them, I feel like they will LIE, CHEAT, and STEAL to get all of your money!!!! The complexes are, in my opinion, unsafe... the 24 hour surveillance is a joke!!!! I would not live here if you are a nonsmoker!!! After renting here, I feel like all they care about is taking your money and not about your health. I was forced to live above a smoker and all of my belongings smell like smoke. They refused to let me out of my lease. So, they offered to transfer me to another apartment saying that there would be no fees for the transfer. Then, after I move, they tell me they are charging me for the carpet cleaning and for the days that I had both keys for moving... around $100... when they told me there would not be any fees with the transfer. So, basically, I feel like they are LIARS and only care about finding ways to take money from you. It's their fault that they were too cheap to make repairs to the vents to prevent smoke from entering my non-smoking apartment!!! All of this after I was originally told that I would have separate ventilation systems when I first moved in! I would stay away from these horrible, ghetto apartments. You can get a lot more for your money elsewhere. Elite properties is a place I would never recommend even to people I hate!!! This place is also not safe in my opinion. My car was vandalized on more than one occassion!!! There was also a guy who had his truck broken into... LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!! I don't want other people to make the same mistake I made.

So, let me make sure I have all this straight. You never actually lived in this complex or dealt with the property manager. You only rented one of the other 9 properties owned by Elite. It's good that you submit this review so that people can "not make the same mistake you made." I think the only real mistake you made was forgetting what your apartment was named and reviewing this one instead.

The thing that sucks about reviewers in Norman is that most of them are immature, can't figure out that you get treated differently in the real world and that this isn't home. No you do have to pay proration for living there if it smelled like smoke...you are still under a contract. Be happy they let you move.
