I lived there from Mar 03 - Jan 05, and I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure what happened with the people who had negative reviews, but from my own experience, the office staff was fantastic and living there was very pleasant. I never had a problem with noise - in fact, I hardly ever even heard my neighbors - and my maintenence requests were largely promptly attended to and resolved. I didn't have a deposit as I was a military member, so I can't vouch for how long/well they process deposit refunds, but they did refund me half of my last months' rent pretty soon after I left(I moved out a half month early and they were able to lease it right away).

The office staff were always super friendly and much more helpful than professional courtesy required - one even push-started my car for me when the battery died in the parking lot.

I think that Hampton Woods was a great value and is much more attractive than most of the other apartments out there in Norman. I would defintely recommend living here.

These apartments sucks!!! They are falling apart around me. The noise from above and around is SOOO loud. There are bugs everywhere and the management is a joke. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
