Be very careful what you rent. Look it over very carefully. We had the absolute worst experience in these apts. Faulty electricity that they would not fix, we had ONE light in the entire apt that worked, and only 3 outlets that worked, the rest did not. We had NO ac through the entire summer, they would not fix it. The upstairs apt was falling through, and their balcony collapsed into ours, and broke a lot of our things, they would not clean our area or replace our items. They FINALLY fixed the upstairs balcony above us, but it was a complete danger zone the entire time. We had bugs from the neighbors who kept moving in and out, they would not treat for the bugs. We would call maintenance over and over and no one would ever show up or call, and they said they did but this was a lie. Our shower caved in, and there was mold in the walls, they did not remove the mold, they patched over it. This apt we lived in, should have been condemned. I know there were better apts in the other buildings they could have put us in, but they would not budge. We lived there for 1.5 yrs and I was furious with my fiance when he renewed the lease, FURIOUS!
If you lease or rent from this complex, KNOW what your getting.
When we moved out, we cleaned that apt better than it was when we moved into it. And they would not give deposits back, in fact charging us $180.00 because we left a soda in the fridge and the vents were dusty. Vent ducts they were supposed to be cleaning and in charge of. If I had known sooner they were going to do this to us, I would have called Health and Fire code on them. We were good, quiet neighbors, clean and kept to ourselves. But they treated us so poorly.
