As an OU student from out of state, it is very hard to be picky. My roommate and I searched long and hard for apartments in Norman close to OU. Believe me, we found much nicer places than Post Oak, but most of them were waaaaay too expensive or fully furnished(which is nice and recommended, but we didnt need it). The management is usually very friendly. The grounds arent too shabby, but also not beautiful. They dont charge at all (no deposit) for animals under 25 lbs. We actually have a puppy thats about 45 lbs and they've never said anything (shhhh...maybe they dont know).

The 2b/2b is decent...ive seen nicer...but not for this price. You get what you need for the price...which for us is $342 a piece each month (washer/dryer included in unit) plus about $40 cable/internet and $30-40 electricity (they take care of the water bill for you). I would not live here again, but it was not even close to as bad as our last apt down the street. For someone who is just looking for a place to live for a good deal, this is the place. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a college student. The location is awesome for us also...which is another reason we settled on it. Dont be fooled, they have a small fitness place with "hours" but it always stays unlocked. Oh yeah, no problem havin parties around here either, just stay away from parties at the pool at night or on the balcony...every once in a while youll see a patrol car looking for the culprits from someones noise complaint...but only if youre outside. Oh yeah, try to get a 2nd floor apt...you can hear everything the upstairs neighbors do if youre on the first floor...and i mean absolutely EVERYTHING...gross.
