My boyfriend moved into his apartment and was disappointed (to say the least) to find the following:
-torn screens
-fleas
-all flooring smelled of urine and feces
-bathroom was disgustingly filthy even after maintenance had cleaned
-water stains on ceiling and bad paint job on walls
-wood underneath all sinks were rotten
-edge of all cabinets were in bad shape
-patio door wasn't sealed which caused high electric bills
most expensive heating and cooling also because thermostat doesn't work right.
-pets are allowed, and so you have to step in poop just to get to your car
-several leaks in ceiling
After several polite calls and complaints:
-the flooring was replaced but had to be replaced again because wasn't done right the first time
-leaks from roof never fixed
-parking not clearly marked
-pool is drained and gross
Basically nothing was done by maintence to fix the problems. They keep claiming that over the summer several repairs will be made. He will have moved out by then!
How hard is it to nail a couple shingles in until then''''
