We've lived at Riverbend for approximately 9 months and we've definitely seen improvements. When we first moved in we did a walk through and the carpets needed vacuumed, there was grass and little styrofoam balls all over the place. Everyone was very helpful with the move-in since we were moving from out of town and we weren't sure what time we'd be in, they made sure someone was available to bring us a key. The appliances aren't that great, we've had 2 knobs break off of our stove and had our fridge replaced within days of moving in. We did get a brand new fridge though. There are no lights in the extra bedrooms which drives me crazy.

Parking: It's adequate, not well lit but a lot of spots and always one open close to my building.

Noise:I've only heard our neighbors dog a couple of times, but never them and never any noise at night.

Grounds: There is a lot of grass for my son to play but they cut down a bush and left the short sticks coming from it which is very unsafe. They usually keep it mowed and looking for nicely.

Safety: I'd say safety could be improved, from the poor lighting in the parking lot, to the bush stump and the exterior deteriorating it could use some work. Although they are fixing up the exterior, remodeling all of the buildings, the first one is looking great and I can't wait till ours is done. Our balcony is also rotting through, we don't even go out there for fear of falling through. If it's not fixed when the redo the exterior we won't be renewing our lease.

Construction: The insides of the apt. are pretty nice. We've had some problems with a leak from the tub inside the wall that leaked into our laundry area and some squeaky steps. The maintenance took care of that within 24 hours of notification and the exterior needing help is already being addressed and looking much better.

Maintenance:Very nice and always helpful. They work very quickly and usually fix the problem the first time.

Staff: There all very nice and very helpful. Always knowledgeable and take the time to listen to me.

Overall:Very nice staff and maintenance and there working on the problems that were there. These apartments aren't on the best side of town, but i have never felt unsafe being outside after dark.
