I feel that since this summer the apartment complex has gone down hill. I pay way too much for what I am not getting. They took the washers and dryers out and have yet to replace them so I have to take all of my laundry off site. What a pain as a single mother with three kids. I just simply have very little time between work, school activities, and everything else that goes on to go off site to do my laundry. It's a huge dissapointment. I had problems with my air conditioner, and now the heating, someone stole my hose, the blinds in the living room keep falling apartment, the siding on my building looks so trashy. They were working on replacing the siding but somehow it slowed down this summer and I will probably never see the new siding because by the time they get to it my lease will be up and I will be moved out. The new siding was one of the things that I looked foward to. And probably my biggest pet peeve is the building that burned down. Oh my god, what an eye sore. At first we were told that the building would be demolished and rebuilt. Then apparantly they didnt have the money to rebuild it from scratch and now they are just going to keep some of the building and built and reconstruct around it. I wouldnt want to be in that building for anything. The water damage from the fire trucks left mold everywhere. Now it sits decaying. There was time this summer and in the warmer months to get on the ball and do something about the building but here it is winter and it still sits. The building itself isnt safe to have kids around with the building supplies and beams laying around. I just cant imagine that they would let it go like they have. The good thing is that when we have had a problem maintence has come out quickly. Wether or not it was corrected in the right manner is questionable, but at least they did respond. Also when we moved in we had a huge problem with fleas and ants. As it's gotten colder out it is better, but this summer it was really bad and nothing we did or they did corrected the problem.

I live at Riverbend and they have four brand new dryers and four washing machines in a newly remodeled laundry room. Also they can't work on siding in the middle of winter and since it has warmed up they are practically finished with the burn unit.
